Excelent quality heavy feel. Purchased for my husband and he loves it. He has very large hands and says it does not feel cheap or flimsy. He is an electrician and uses it to point out specific wires for a helper to identify across an entire factory. We live in the country and can spot it on our neighbors home over a mile away and it's great for playing with the kittens :')

I recived this yesterday. I bought this just to play around with. Went outside to test it tonight and am impressed with it. I live in the suburbs so theres not much to point it at. Found a hill to stand on and tried pointing it at the furthest bulding and or trees I could see and it had no problem reaching that distance. Tried pointing it skyward and seems to perform well as a astronomy tool. Also seems to be good on battery life. Used it for like about an hour with heavy use and still running strong. My roomates love it too. Highly reccomend this product.
Update: Ok, I've had it for a few days now. Still love it. Got some rechargeable digital camera batteries for it (the highest powered ones I could find). It actually does seem to chew thru batteries though. Seems like its brightest on a new set of batteries or newly charged ones for like the first hour or less of use. After that, its still bright but not like when you first put the battires in. Still love it. No problems.

I haven't taken this laser out at night, but I don't need to. It's clearly visible in the bright daylight! This is an awesome little piece of equipment. Feels very substantial in the hand. Not like a toy at all. Would recommend it to anyone interested in a powerful laser.

Before I bought a red laser from a shop in my city, I was thinking this product will be same with the one I bough in local shop. But not. You can see laser beam clearly from the product's body to sky. Now I understand why they call it astronomy laser. It is too powerfull. I m using for more than 15 days, I still havent change battery. It works perfect. Strongly recommended. Aware of pointing to eyes, seriously so powerfull, it may harm your eyes.
